Birth Resources Classes at Wellington Hospital

Birth Resources classes at Wellington Hospital are on Level L or M (i.e. Level 11 and 12) Ward Support Block (WSB) (PDF, 752.9 KB)
If going from the Main Hospital building go up the Red lifts to the 3rd Floor and walk to Ward Support Block (WSB) Level C (Level 3), past the Vibe cafeteria on Level C turn right and take the Blue lifts. Otherwise park outside the Childrens Hospital in the public Wilson Parking area (entrance off Hospital road) and walk in via the Main Entrance to the WSB on Level C and turn towards the cafeteria and take the Blue lifts.

From the Blue lifts go to Level L (11th floor) or Level M (12th floor).

The following are Maps of Wellington Hospital, note changes will continue to happen due to ongoing construction so follow signage when you are at the Hospital.

Within the Hospital there is Wilson Parking. You will need to pay during the day and evening time. You will be able to leave without paying between 1.00am - 8.30am.

Attached maps shows the places you can park. The sites where it is labelled 'P' are public parking areas.

• Entry into the Main Hospital Building is off Riddiford Street.
• There is underground parking on Level One.
• Entry via Hospital Road there is public parking outside Grace Neill Block or the Childrens Hospital. Parking is more limited in this area.
• Entry via Mein Street there is public parking. Parking is more limited in this area.

Park near the Orange lifts to go to 4th floor Antenatal/Postnatal.

Park near the Red lifts to go to Delivery Suite.

Afterhours the underground parking Red lifts are locked thus pick up the red phone beside them to talk to an orderly who will take you to Delivery Suite.
Afterhours and short term maternity parks are after turning right via the Emergency Department entrance.

For Childbirth Education Classes run out of the Ward Support Block you can park in the Underground Wilson Car Parking take the red lifts to 3rd floor and walk to Level C (Level 3) past the cafeteria and take the Blue lifts to Level L (Level 11). You can go via Hospital road and park outside the Grace Neill Block or the Childrens Hospital. There is also public parking via Mein Street entry. Parking is more limited in these areas.

On the 2nd floor is the Main Entrance where Birth Resources class meets for tours.
On the 4th floor is Women's Services, Gynaecology Ward, Ante & Postnatal Pods (Wards), Delivery Suite, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
